Kalie Fletcher is the founder and owner of The Proper Pencil. Kalie’s goal and passion is to help every student reach their full potential, regardless of status, age or education. She is a graduate of a public school in Mississippi and earned her Bachelor's in Marketing and Master’s in Higher Education and Student Personnel from the University of Mississippi. Over the course of 10 years, Kalie has worked in Marketing, Higher Education Admissions, and High School College Counseling.
After taking time off to be a mom, Kalie launched Pine Belt College Counseling in 2020 and The Proper Pencil in 2022. Kalie’s knowledge comes from both sides of the desk; high school and college counseling! Her dream is to reach every student and family with guidance and support to achieve their goals, and to be a mentor for adults that need the extra push to achieve greatness through career and interview preparation. Everyone deserves a chance to reach their potential; whether it’s landing a dream job, winning a pageant, or attending college!
